Iowa Southern Utilities Co 1 (Line Car 1)

When first constructed in 1896, Iowa Southern Utilities Co 1 (Now Line Car 1), it was built as a single truck passenger car. Later in life, the owners converted the car to a line car for working on overhead wires and general line work. After being owned by Trolleyville for many years, it was acquired by the Connecticut Trolley Museum. It now operates as a support car for work crews when doing a range of activities from lineside brush cutting or signal work, including helping replace Christmas lights for Winterfest.
